New budget for math contest.

Asking to Save energy in Iquitos

Asking to save electricity in Iquitos for 1 hour.

 

El día sábado 28 de Abril la ciudad de Iquitos se solidarizó con el llamado internacional para apagar las luces por 1 hora. El “apagón voluntario” estuvo programado para empezar a las 8:30pm hasta las 9:30pm.

Sailing along the Marañon river

December 19, 2008.

After we left Nauta, the ferry headed to the Marañon river, another tributary of the Amazonas river. The travel was slow, and peaceful, in moments it can be bored, because the only things you see are trees, and forest… so you kill the time chatting with another passengers or just lay down in you hammock, although I should say it’s hard to keep in your hammock when it’s very hot….

A stop in Nauta

The first stop after spending the night in the ferry. Nauta is a small city around 100km far away from Iquitos. Now there’s a good road that helps to make faster travels. Years before, we had to take a ferry to get to Nauta.
