A stop in Nauta

The first stop after spending the night in the ferry. Nauta is a small city around 100km far away from Iquitos. Now there’s a good road that helps to make faster travels. Years before, we had to take a ferry to get to Nauta.

The pics of Nauta show that it was a foggy day. There was no option to see the whole river.. you can feel the humidity in the air, and still you can be cold… those changes in temperature can make you feel sick for sure.

Well, It was near 5am when we got to Nauta city. The port is near to the grocery market, that’s why lot of people was there. Some of them are waiting for fishermen, in order to buy fresh fish, others are there waiting for farmers, and buy yucca, bananas, or any other production, and you can find a big bunch of street vendors… they run with their trays and offer you different kind of things, like bread, dried fish, fruits, biscuits, etc, etc…
